Eng. Aris Goxha is a highly qualified Energy and Power Expert with a Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to a Master’s degree) in Electric Engineering from the University of “Politecnico di Milano”. His professional experience spans Albania, Kosova, Italy, and Greece, with a focus on energy auditing, RES and Biomass Technology, and the development and implementation of energy projects. He has successfully delivered projects for international organizations such as UNIDO and the EU, as well as for private investors and banks, demonstrating his ability to manage complex projects and provide valuable expertise in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources
“The integration of IoT devices in digital substations offers the potential to enhance monitoring, automation, and real-time decision-making, ultimately improving grid efficiency and reliability.”.
Integrating renewable energy resources into the power sector presents several key challenges. One significant hurdle is the intermittency of many renewable sources, such as solar and wind, which do not provide a constant and predictable energy supply. This variability requires grid systems to become more flexible and sophisticated in managing supply and demand, often necessitating investments in energy storage solutions or smart grid technologies. Furthermore, the decentralized nature of renewable energy generation can challenge traditional grid infrastructure, which was primarily designed for centralized power plants. This is one of the challenges that the Energetic sector faces daily and EECG is willing to share its long term experience.

Benefits from Photovoltaics installations
Photovoltaic (PV) installations are a key component of the shift to clean energy. By converting sunlight directly into electricity, PV systems offer a sustainable and increasingly affordable alternative to traditional power sources. From rooftop solar panels powering homes to large-scale solar farms feeding into the grid, PV technology is transforming how we generate and consume energy. These installations reduce reliance on fossil fuels, lower carbon emissions, and provide long-term cost savings, making them a vital investment in a sustainable future.
